Baby Chimps
7 Months – 2 Years
Our most recently built section ‘Baby Chimps’ is open to all children aged from 7 months to 2 years old. Baby Chimps has its own private, self contained, purpose built rooms within our clubhouse.
There is a decking area, separate sleep area and a messy play area. In a caring environment, with many fun and stimulating sensory activities on offer, your child will enjoy their first experiences of being away from home.
To ensure that each child has enough space and attention, baby chimps will only take a maximum of 6 children per day with a staff to child ratio of at least 1:3 to maintain an exceptionally high level of care.
Snacks and full fat milk will be provided in both the morning and afternoon.
Sessions
The day is split into two sessions:
Morning session
8.00 AM – 1.00 PM
Afternoon session
1.00 PM – 6.00 PM
Fees
Prices from Monday 5th June 2023:
The cost per session is £32.50.
A full day costs £65.00
Any additional hours previously arranged with the section manager will be charged at £6.50 per hour.
Please note in order to keep your child’s space, fees will still be charged for even in their absence.
Bank Holidays
Cheeky Chimps will not be open on Bank holidays or weekends.
Little Chimps
(2 Year Olds)
This is the private, junior section of our pre-school. It is open for at least 50 weeks per year and spaces are available exclusively for this age group.
Little Chimps has its own private room and outdoor areas where the children can play with their own age group away from the main pre-school children.
For parents and carers whose child needs a little more interaction than toddler groups, the Little Chimps section would be ideal.
Limited to just 12 spaces to ensure quality care & high staff to child ratios.
Sessions
The day is split in to two sessions:
Morning Session
8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Afternoon Session
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Fees

The cost per session is £30.00.
A full day costs £60.00
Any additional hours previously arranged with the section manager will be charged at £6.00 per hour.

Pre-School
(3-5 Year Olds)
Pre-school can help prepare your child to gain the necessary skills for starting school. The range of activities provided will encourage the development of all areas.
There is a mixture of both adult-led activities together with free play time to allow your child to experience a private education to naturally explore and discover their surroundings within a safe and caring environment.
Our private pre school is open every day, 50 weeks per year between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. This is for children aged 3 – 5 years. Sessions are offered throughout the day but must be for a minimum of 3 hours.
All children aged 3 or 4 will receive free nursery education places from the term after their third birthday up until they move on to primary school. Each child may attend pre-school for an allocated number of hours per term which is decided by the local authority and usually equates to no more than 15 hours per week. Some families may be entitled to 30 hours per week depending on their circumstances, if you think you may be eligible please speak to a member of staff and visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk for more information.

Private hours will be charged at £5.50 per hour if spaces are available.

Holiday Club
(Under 8’s Only)
The holiday club provides fun activities for both younger and older children. This is vital for parents/carers who need child care services whilst at work during the many school holidays.
There are a wide variety of modern toys and games which will keep your children occupied for hours.
The holiday club is open between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday to Friday during school holidays. Children can attend from the age of 3 up to 8 years.
To make it even more accessible and hopefully value for money we are going to try and split the day into 6 sessions as follows:
Session 1
8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Session 2
01:00 PM – 06:00 PM
Prices from Monday 5th June 2023:
Each main session will cost £20.00.
£40.00 per day.
Extra hours are charged at £5.00 per hour depending availability.
24 Hours notice is required to cancel a place at Cheeky Chimps during the school holidays. Failure to notify us within this time will result in the charge for your place still being due in full.
